New Braunfels Doula

Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m a mother, local real estate broker in New Braunfels, and longtime birth doula with a heart for stewarding people through some of life’s most meaningful transitions. My passion for birth began when my best friend invited me to support her during the birth of her second daughter. Soon afterward, I trained as a doula and began walking alongside women through pregnancy and birth.

While raising my own children, I continued attending births on a limited basis through personal referrals. Now that my children are older, I have entered a season with more availability and the bandwidth to open my schedule to new clients. I’m excited to make more room for this work I feel deeply passionate about—helping women feel informed, confident, cared for, and supported as they welcome their babies into the world.

My philosophy on being present at a birth:
Think of me as an extra pair of hands for you and your partner. I am there to help facilitate the birth you want to have. I come along side each couple to be there for guidance and support as each birth unfolds the way it wants to. I am very laid back in nature, and while it is not my style to be argumentative with a doctor or midwife, I aim to advocate for my client’s wishes without disrupting the birth environment. I will also help to identify any trust issues that might arise in the labor room, during our prenatal consults.

My goal as a doula is to:
